Say What?

I was beyond impressed with both Kelly and Becca. Not only was I beyond pleased with their frank discussion regarding sexual assault, I was thrilled with the way they openly discussed sexual freedom. I think students can easily relate and connect with both Kelly and Becca and their program is very professional and perfect for any college campus.
— Wendy Palczynski, Assistant Director of International Student Services, Adelphi University
I felt that this program was very informative and broadened my awareness to a serious issue. Both Kelly and Rebecca were humorous but also serious in a way that had a profound affect on myself as well as those around me. They talked about a difficult topic but did so in a comprehensive and empowering way.
— Student Evaluation, Davidson College
I loved Kelly and Becca's candidness and openess. They really seemed to connect with the audience effectively because they were so passionate about their topic. I was very pleased with their performance, and I think that they gave a lot of useful information in a brief amount of time.
— Kim Goins, Issues and Ideas Director, University of Alabama
Kelly and Becca are very real, genuine and engaging and their messages are timely and up-to-date. Their passion and achievement is well evident in their program and very inspiring to both students and staff alike.
— Doug Cox, Director of Public Safety, DePauw University
It was very refreshing to hear such an honest and open discussion of a tough subject. The way Kelly and Becca presented the information was so relatable and engaging. The non-preachy, real-life dialogue about making empowering choices was especially helpful and effective. They did a superb job of tying in the contributing effects of alcohol to the issue of sexual assault. It was FANTASTIC all-around and student feedback was remarkably positive. The impact was definitely felt by most in attendance.
— Jessica Hylton, Director of Counseling and Wellness, Wingate University
The overall impact of this program was 10 out of 10. Kelly and Becca were able to take on a serious topic and make it comfortable through laughter and sincere friendship.
— Julia James, University of Alabama Panhellenic VPA
I thought it was a wonderful program and that there was a very high impact left on the students by the speakers. It is such an important and timely topic to college campuses and I think every student should hear it at least once while in college. The way the speakers related to the students and really talked to them was very important and stuck out with me.
— Kimberly Thornton, Assistant Director for Student Leadership and Involvement, Louisianna State University Shreveport
The program had a great response from teachers, staff and students. One of the counselors had a waiting list after the program. They were comfortable with a high school audience. The students were immature at times, but Kelly and Becca handled it well.
— Valerie Dragon, PTA Norwich High School
I would rate this program a 10! It appeals to both men and women. A great message delivered very professionally and unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. They were fantastic.
— Tom Mullen, New York Institute of Technology
The students responded well and I was impressed with the male response. Men said that this was the first sexual assault program they had been to where they didn’t feel guilty for being men, and actually learned something.
— Kasey Drennen, Greek Advisor, Marietta College
We were so happy with Kelly and Rebecca! The students responded so well to them- we are so happy!
— Lisa Gatz, Franklin College
"Kelly and Becca were able to relate to us as college students. They were talking with us, not at us. They took a very serious issue and presented it in a way that lets you put your guard down, get comfortable, and even laugh while discussing something very intimate."
— Student Attendee, Southeastern Panhellenic Conference
“Kelly and Rebecca were the keynote speakers for our Take Back the Night event.   The overall impact of the program was amazing because they talk about a serious matter but lighten it up with humor which makes the audience more attentive and really listen to what they say. It’s not your “typical” program because of the way they present it.  They want people to feel comfortable listening and talking about this important subject of rape, and by presenting the program the way they do it really helped get the message across. I overheard a few of the older sisters saying that they were the best speakers we've had in the four years that we have had Take Back the Night. I would highly recommend them to other schools!”
— Lindsay C., North Eastern University
“The program made a huge impact on the audience. I give them a 10! I would definitely recommend this program to others because it was not just a lecture on how to prevent rape.  Most women, and even men can identify with these 2 women in some way (just college life in general) and by telling their true-life story, it makes it relevant to us. Some of the statistics really stood out.  They both did a great job sharing their story...I still feel like I know every detail. Both women are unbelievably easy to get along with.  They’re extremely warm and personable, and open to all questions.”
— Ashley H., Syracuse University
“AMAZING....if I could send them to every college campus I would. I not only learned a lot but I realized a lot about myself and my friends. My closest friend is a victim working towards becoming a survivor of sexual assault and it's given me not only info to get to her to help her learn more but also it has given me info to help me help her. I wish that everyone could experience these awesome ladies. Your cause is great and I know that you made a difference on our campus. As a member of Peer Educators on my campus this program has provided us with lots of tools to continue to work with in our campus and communities. Thanks so much!”
— Courtney W., Muskingum College
“It was a very powerful message that had funny parts but yet was so serious.  You both related so well to us college students and were definitely at our level.  You got your message across in a very awesome way, the hour flew by.  I enjoyed every minute of your presentation.  Thank you!”
— Hallie H., Muskingum College
It was a great program!  In addition to showing how to deal with being the victim of a sexual assault, Becca and Kelly explained how you can help a friend who was a victim.  It was very informational and helpful, particularly if you or a friend is ever in that situation. Becca and Kelly presented the information in a very down to earth way, particularly directed toward college students.”
— Matthew K., Miami University (of Ohio)
“Kelly and Rebecca seemed to form a connection with the students.  You could tell that the students were paying attention, and absorbing the information present. The use of current vocabulary and terminology was helpful.   Also, the personal stories from Kelly and Rebecca helped to prove the point that this issue could affect anyone. Both Kelly and Rebecca were a joy to meet and work with and were very flexible.”
— Melissa H., Coordinator of Recreational and Weekend Programming, Elmira College
