About Kelly and Becca
Kelly Addington and Becca Tieder are experts on sexual assault awareness, prevention and sexual empowerment and have been nationally recognized for their achievements in sexual assault education and prevention. They are activists, educators, authors and advocates but their endless drive and ever growing number of frequent flyer miles comes from the desire to bring communities together to enact change. Since 2003 Kelly and Becca have shared their message with hundreds campuses, communities and professional conferences nationally reaching more than half a million people. In 2006 they founded Unite for Change, a global campaign to promote sexual assault awareness and prevention, sexual health and healthy sexuality and in 2009 launched the popular educational tool Sexversations®.
They have been featured on Dateline NBC as experts on the dangers of sexual assault and date rape drugs, appeared on The Fox Morning Show with Mike and Juliet, CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, and Fox. In 2008, Kelly and Becca received the Speakers of the Year Silver Star award from the Campus Activities Magazine Readers Choice Awards and in 2009 they showcased at APCA Nationals and NACA Nationals. They are currently working on their first book to be released in 2010.

Kelly holds a degree in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences from the University of West Florida. Her desire to live life to the fullest and love for travel has lead her all over Europe and the United States, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Belize, Honduras and much of the Caribbean. Her favorite excursion however would be a three year stint in Texas where she found the best Mexican food this side of the border and the Aggie who stole her heart. Kelly is passionate about serving her community and has volunteered with The Ophelia Project, The Centre for Women and Alpha Gamma Delta. She is the recipient of the 2009 Outstanding Young Alumnus Award from, the University of West Florida and and currently serves on the Relationship Equality and Anti-violence League Advisory Board. When she has free time she loves traveling, cooking, entertaining, kayaking, spending quality time with family and friends and embraces her guilty pleasure of vegg'n out to back to back episodes of reality TV on a rainy afternoon. Kelly lives in Florida with her husband and their two felines.

Becca is an active member of her community and believes the only way to make the world a better place is to engage others and to enact change. She is a vegetarian who is passionate about politics, saving animals (especially dogs) and sexual empowerment. Becca proudly holds her degree in Theatre from the University of West Florida. She has volunteered her time with such organizations as The University of Tampa, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Alpha Gamma Delta. She is a 30 under 30 award recipient, local Chair of the University of West Florida Alumni Association and a member of the Athena Society. Becca serves on the Board of Directors for The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce. In her free time she digs cooking, social media, photography, traveling, live music, playing cards, vegan baking, long naps and kicking it with her posse which includes two dogs and the loves of her life, her husband and their son.
