About Kelly and Becca
Kelly Addington and Becca Tieder are experts on sexual assault awareness and prevention and sexual empowerment and have been nationally recognized for their achievements in sexual assault education. Since 2003, Kelly and Becca have shared their message with hundreds of college campuses reaching more than half a million students and have had the honor of working members of the various branches of the United States military. In 2006 the duo founded the Unite for Change Campaign, to provide educational resources that promote sexual assault awareness and prevention. On Valentine’s Day in 2009 they launched the innovative educational tool Sexversations® and later that year announced their acquisition of The No Woman Left Behind Campaign, a nationwide bystander intervention initiative. In 2010 they founded the non-profit organization, One Student, based on their core belief that one sexual assault is too many and one student can make a difference. One Student provides students and their allies with programs, resources and opportunities to create social change and help reduce sexual violence.
Kelly and Becca have served as consultants for Dateline NBC and been featured on The Fox Morning Show with Mike and Juliet, ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC and NPR. Recognizing their commitment, passion and determination, Business Journal’s across the country have profiled the duo as “People on the move”. They are currently working on their first book and will share the release date as soon as it becomes available. Kelly and Becca are activists, educators, authors and advocates but their endless drive and ever growing number of frequent flyer miles comes from the desire to bring communities together to enact change.
